The company is capable to fulfill the whole complex of business automation works, its own or in co-operation with strategic partners and third parties.

"AVIAINFOTEL" CJSC (AIT Systems 'AITS') was founded in 1999 as assignee of "Eighth day" Ltd founded in 1993 by a group of highly trained IT scientists with extensive experience in the areas of Airport Management, Border Control and Management, Document Control and Information Security.

During the first few years AITS conducted numerous researches and prepared scientific documents and articles in the area of development and installation of multi level information systems.

In 1996 the organization was contracted by Ministry of Internal Affairs and Ministry of National Security of the Republic of Armenia to develop and implement the complete Human Resources management system for the Ministry. The application was developed in a timely manner and it has been in production for over 5 years.

In 1997 AITS was commissioned by the Armenian Government to develop and implement a complete Airport Management System in conjunction with a Border Control Management System for "Zvartnots" International Airport of Armenia. Later on, the task of development of Visa Issuance system and Document Control Management system was added by the Department of Foreign Affairs to the project.

During the last few years AITS has been able to develop and implement one of the most sophisticated Airport Management Systems in the world (Airport Management Information System "AMIS"). Along with the Airport management system AITS has been able to develop a very comprehensive Border Management System (Border Management Information System "BMIS") and a well integrated travel document identification System (Document Information System "DIS").

These systems are implemented in "Zvartnots" International Airport and are in use by National Police, National Security Services, Border Guard of the Russian Federation in Armenia, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its consulates worldwide. The above mentioned systems have received a very high appraising by the International Border Control authorities who have visited the site.

Alongside with the Application systems developed for Airport and Border Management, AITS has been able to develop a sophisticated search and indexing algorithm that makes it possible to perform a very high volume of search transactions in seconds. This indexing algorithm enhances the performance of the system incredibly and it allows the users to be more productive.

One of the last innovations has been the development of the Graphical presentation of the physical Airport structure and airfield as a dynamic map over the web alongside with all the necessary information which provides a complete graphical management tool for the Airport managers.

AITS was awarded the President Prize of the Republic of Armenia in the sphere of "Technical sciences and information technologies" in May 2002.
